What is a Session?

A session is a visit, appointment, treatment, or set of notes for a particular animal at a particular time.

You 'spend' a session the very first time you save it, all subsequent edits, saves, emails, invoices and everything else from that point forward is free. Sessions are not linked to log-ins, nor to the number of times you open or edit a set of notes. Just the first save, once. You can also enter as many animals and contacts as you like, that's free too.

Do my sessions roll over from month to month?

NO: Your monthly session limit is just that, a limit. Unused sessions do not carry forward to the next month.

YES: Slush sessions do roll forward from month to month.

Can I change my plan?

YES: You can change your plan at any time under 'My Account' in the web based App. No penalty.

Can I leave?

YES: Any time. And you get your data too. No penalty.

What happens if I go on holidays?

Have a great time!

We'll mind your data while you are away, we'll continue to back it up, protect it and keep it safe. We will keep working while you have some well earned fun. But we'll need you to keep your subscription active while you do.

Can I have additional users?

YES: The account owner can add new users. All users share the same data in the Cavanti system, but have their own logins, individual email signatures and are scheduled and displayed separately in the calendar. 

You can add as many users as you like, and a 'user' can be anything: a practitioner, a piece of equipment, or a consultation room. Just about anything that needs to be booked or scheduled in your practice can be assigned as a User, and thus show up as an asset in the calendar for all users to see.

Are there any penalties for going over my limit?

NO: There are no penalties in Cavanti, ever.

Do I have to upgrade if I hit my session limit?

NO: You don't have to upgrade. Once you hit your limit, you simply won't be able to sync your additional sessions until you either buy some slush, or your plan rolls over to the next month.

Are there any other costs?

NO: You will only ever pay for two things: your monthly subscription, and slush. Nothing else.

What happens if I cancel?

Once you cancel your account, you will continue to have full access until the end of your current subscription period. After that, we will retain your data and slush credits for 90 days, during which time you will have the opportunity to re-subscribe to regain full access to your slush credits and data. At the end of 90 days your account, including all data and slush, will be deleted from the Cavanti servers and will no longer be available.

Can I download my data?

YES: Your data is fully downloadable on the web based app at any time. Its yours, after all.

Can I include my logo and letterhead?

YES: You can upload your logo and create your letterhead in the system. All invoices and session reports will then be sent out on your practice letterhead.
